The first session is delivered on the phone or via videoconferencing. It has a different format from a regular therapy session: It lasts 15 minutes, and you should feel free to ask any important questions regarding the treatment.
We know that finding a therapist is not easy; this is why we offer the first therapy session free of charge. Many people do not know exactly how psychotherapy works. As a new client, you may have reasonable concerns about therapist’s experience, education, and approach. During a free initial consultation, you have a chance to ask these questions and decide if the therapist is a good fit for your situation and personality. It is an opportunity to become less nervous and start to build a relationship with a therapist.
- Do you have experience dealing with the challenges I face?
- What does the therapy process look like?
- What types of psychotherapy do you use?
- Does everything that I tell you stay private?
- How long does therapy take?
- How much do you charge per session?
- You can also share details on the symptoms you experience.

Additionally, online therapy often provides added benefits, such as greater accessibility and the convenience of not having to travel to appointments.
