Throughout his career, Aleksei has gained extensive experience in treating various mental health issues, including crisis counselling, PTSD, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, phobias, anger management, relationships, and low self-esteem issues. He has specialized in Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Specific Phobia, Somatic Disorders, and PTSD. Aleksei has provided psychotherapy to clients of diverse ages, economic levels, and cultural backgrounds, and he is well-versed in a range of therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Single session, and Psychodynamic approaches.
In addition to his work with individuals, Aleksei has also facilitated various group sessions throughout his career. He has provided support to individuals struggling with anger management, emotions regulation, healthy relationships, communication skills, and substance addictions. He has also led Anger Management groups, Emotions Regulation Groups, Partner Assault Response (PAR) program groups, and group sessions on Anger management.
Alongside his psychotherapy work, Aleksei has also taught at a post-secondary institution for three years. During this time, he developed courses on the Psychology of Management and Organizational Behavior for Masters and MBA students. Aleksei is highly knowledgeable about the psychological factors that impact organizational behavior and he has helped many students to develop a deeper understanding of these complex issues.
